The Norwegian defence force built a new rescue station in Florø, Norway. A part of the hangar for the sea rescue helicopter Sea King has art by Katrine Giæver on its main facade made of PAROC print panels.
The architectural office Solem Hartmann AS designed the project, heard about, just at the right moment, the new PAROC print panel. Inspired by them, KORO (Public Art Norway), the government’s professional body for art in public spaces in Norway, also entered the project.
The main facade of the helicopter hangar is designed by Katrine Giæver, who is one of the most well-known artists in Norway. She attended a Paroc event in Helsinki and heard about the opportunities that the new PAROC print panel could offer.
